Rick Everist Sr. made a giant leap into California in 1977. L. G. Everist had fixed plants in the Midwest and the portable operations in its Mountain Division, but there was no push for expansion at that time. Rick had looked elsewhere and found a situation in Southern California that proposed an intriguing challenge.

Something a little different, but with tremendous potential.
