Mountain Division Growth

The second phase of a large maritime construction project kept Connolly-Pacific busy. With the rapid expansion of Denver, the western division developed permanent operations, rather than working from portables. A new plant was built at Carr, CO and a transload yard at 88th Avenue. After a large project at the Denver airport, LGE purchased and developed a site for ready-mix concrete production and an asphalt plant near operations in Silverthorne, CO. In the midwest, the Dell Rapids West quarry reopened in 1996.
