JOB SUMMARY

This is an entry level position in with a lot of potential for upward movement. Training will be given for the right person.

This position you will operate a skid loader too and do labor work to help operate an Asphalt Plant. You will help do maintenance work on conveyors. Welding and cutting torch experience helpful. Mechanical skills and tool knowledge is helpful.  This is year-round work.

• Good work attendance.
• Physically fit to perform the job functions including the ability to stand, squat, bend, lift, and walk for long durations
• Ability to lift objects weighing 50 pounds

LOCATION

Sioux Falls, SD 

EDUCATION

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. 

DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Emphasis on equipment experience preferred.
2. Safely operates heavy equipment to excavate, move, load, and grade rock, gravel and sand.
3. Performs daily inspection and maintenance and ensures that machine is in safe, proper working order including fluid checks and proper lubrication.
4. Maintains orderliness, cleanliness and safety at jobsite.
5. Display good communication skills including the ability to understand and follow verbal and written direction and instructions.

SCHEDULE

Monday to Friday with some Saturdays
