Water Truck Driver – No CDL Required

L.G. Everist, Inc., founded in 1876 produces and supplies sand, gravel and quarried stone throughout the Midwest region of the United States.  If you aspire to be a professional truck driver, join our team!


This position is responsible for a driving a water truck to keep help with dust control on a mine site. Training will be provided.  You will be able to grow your career into operating other pieces of equipment such as skid loader, payloader, haul trucks and other mining equipment.

To be considered for this opportunity you must have:


Sioux Falls, SD


High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.


  1. Perform the physical duties of the work in all types of weather conditions
  2. Perform routine manual labor tasks including heavy lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
  3. Display good communication skills including the ability to understand and follow verbal and written direction and instructions
  4. Learn a variety of work skills associated with road maintenance and repair operations
  5. Safely and efficiently use a variety of hand and power tools
  6. Drive a pickup truck or other light vehicle in a safe and courteous manner
  7. Read, understand and follow safety rules and regulations and county policies and procedures
  8. Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times
  9. Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required
