Industrial Stone

The only remaining Sioux Quartzite dimensional stone operation is located in America’s heartland. Here the highly specialized skill of the stone cutter is matched with sophisticated machinery to produce a variety of stone products. We produce large and small stones with tight tolerances using premium quartzite for a variety of industrial processing applications – from grinding to oil drilling equipment. All industrial stones are custom designed by our engineering department to meet your most exacting specifications and design requirements. With quartzite being one of the world’s hardest stones, it has become an invaluable element in many applications. Chemically, the product is 98% silicon dioxide. That purity, along with its inherent toughness, hardness, and close-grained structure, make it the ideal natural stone for industrial processing. It’s the perfect stone where contamination of materials being ground by wear cannot be tolerated.
